When Chris got married in 1973, he moved to Cheltenham from South London where he got a job as a projectionist at the local Odeon cinema.
When the Odeon Cheltenham closed in November 2006 Chris took early retirement. In 2014 a friend asked Chris if he would produce her Cotswold Hospital Radio show for her. A few months later the show was on Radio Winchcombe as well as CHR. When the show finished in 2015, Chris was asked to ‘fill the gap’ in the schedule, so he started to present as well as producing shows and the rest, as they say, is history.
